Into The Sales Curve (1992)

An interview with developers at games company The Sales Curve/Storm, later known as SCI. Excerpted from the second (and last) issue of Click, a magazine-on-videotape about games. Released in January 1992.

The Sales Curve/Storm, are the team behind successful game conversions such as Ninja Warriors and SWIV back in the days.

Actually, I was looking for further informations about the pixel artist Ned Langman, who created the game art of SWIV (Amiga/1991).
I found an interesting interview with him on Codetapper’s Amiga Retro Site and stumbled there upon this video.

If you own(ed) an Amiga, I highly recommend to visit Codetapper’s site. A bunch of fantastic Amiga related interviews & articles to find there.

Out Now for PC & Ouya : r0x EP by RGCD

I did a posting about this game (I was a bit involved in - I created the game font) two months ago and finally I played the final version: It was great fun!
So this is a recommendation for anyone with interest in shmups with tactical elements. RGCD is calling it a “tactical avoid-‘em up”.
I think it’s an accurate term.

r0x EP is available for FREE over at itch.io, but you can also name your own price to support them!

More infos on RGCD’s game page:

They are also working on a collectors edition physical release of the game too.

Men at Arms : Game Development BlogI’m happy to announce, that Lubos and me started developing the game “Men at Arms” recently. Lubos, who is specialized in Haxe & Kha, is doing the code for the game. I will focus on the game’s art work. Our plan is to realize a PvP game, based on the animated GIF I posted a month ago. We opened a Tumblr blog mainly dedicated to the development of the game.
You are very welcome to follow us:http://men-at-arms.tumblr.com/The devblog is run in co-op, therefore you can expect code-, concept- and art-related postings.
